My coworker is copying and pasting ChatGPT responses for PR reviews. Is there any way to bring this up to him or the team?

ChatGPT is a great resource (and I use it as well), but lately my coworker has been overusing it for PR reviews.

He seems to be copying and pasting the code directly into ChatGPT… and then copying and pasting ChatGPT’s responses right in the PR (including suggested changes). The problem is that he’s adding a ton of comments that don’t really make any sense. They often lack context, are just straight up wrong, or aren’t any better and are just different ways of rewriting the code.

It seems like he’s not vetting any information from it… which also makes it hard to take him seriously. Because he’s (seemingly) not really looking at the code, he also makes comments that don’t make sense given the discussions we’ve had in the team. It takes a lot of time to debunk some of the things he posts in the comments (adding resources, links to threads, etc) and is starting to get really irritating.

The company has already said they don’t care if we copy & paste code into ChatGPT or use it as a resource, but it’s the way that he’s using it which I am taking issue with. Is there any way that I can bring this up without it coming off the wrong way?
