Elaborate excel spreadsheet to software- is it worth the attempt or am I foolish?

I created an elaborate (lots of simple calculations) spreadsheet for a counselor friend to track clients and generate reports. There is a tab for each month where they log their counseling sessions, length, in person or telehealth, and select a reason for the session. I have formulas on each month that show number of sessions, hours, unique clients, number of sessions for each reason, and number of hours for each reason.

I then have a tab that pulls the data from the months into it and calculates all the same information for the year. I have graphs that show stats by month – clients my month, hours by month for the year, and all of the reasons tallied by month to see trends.

I would like to see this as its own application rather than a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet took hours, and it works. The issue is I have never coded or built a software. Am I foolish to think I could do something like this? If it’s possible, where would I start?
