Hi,
I wanted to know your ideas – I work as a software developer. And our boss introduced a performance evaluation where we should gather all tickets/projects we worked on in the half a year and rate our performance in percentage (based on how well we did compared to our standard, 100 percent would be a job normally done) and also encouraged us to gather this percentage from our reviewers for each of the projects.
He wants to have this measure as an objective way to measure our performance and give us bonuses and promote us based on this.
I am very bitter and confused about this.
Do you have experience with something similiar? Is it common practice?
