How to Develop Software

Hello,

I developed a solution that uses power query to pull data from fillable pdfs we get from clients. Once the data is in excel, we use it two ways:

First is we copy the data and paste it into google sheets. We do that so our clients can view the data.

Second is we use mailmerge to create additional documents we use later in our process.

Question: I’d like to create a desktop application that performs all of these steps in a more user friendly way. It also does not feel very professional to be copy/pasting data into a google sheet.

I’m decent with VBA but have no experience actually coding anything. Any recommendations for who/how to run this by developers to get an idea how much it would cost to do?

Or should I get a how to code in python book or something? I think I saw that in a movie lol.
