Hi,
I'd like to invest some money to develop an Allied Health platform.
The platform will be used by service providers to ease their work and automate the process of (1) hiring carers (2) understanding partient needs (3) scheduling carer visits (4) onboarding patients and carers (5) keeping record of documents (6) sending reminders when a certificate is about to expire or a patient is scheduled for visit etc…
The software will end up being sold into Allied Health providers using a subscription model.
The platform will have three parties:
- The provider's management team.
- The provider's clients/patients.
- The provider's carers.
The software, once purchased by a provider, will need to have the features: https://imgur.com/a/S5cjo3I
I understand that what I'm asking for can't be quantified with a Reddit post, but I would really appreciate if I can get guidance on how to start what you think I should do:
- I understand there are off-the-shelf caldenar, CRM, scheduling, invoicing, document storage, reporting, forms software. How do software developers generally integrate these tools together? Is there meant to be an API for these tools, or is there an umbrella integration software which can contain all these tools together?
- Would it be better to use off-the-shelf tools and have them integrated with each other?
- Can these tools be integrated in such a way that we can have a unique front end? The reason I'm asking is that I don't want to reveal the underlaying tools used on the platform.
- What type of software developers should I engage to develop such platform?
- How long would such a project last? (I know I know, how long is a piece of string).
- Most importatnly, what kind of budget should I be looking at? I understand this type of platform is huge and a few software engineers will need to be involved to bring it to life.
I understand that what I'm asking for is quite large, but I have a dream, and I'd like to achieve it. I may be able to start this year or 10 years from now, but I want to do once I know where to start.
The attached image was copied from a great Allied Health provider in Australia. Here is the direct link for them. I'm thinking of doing something similar but with many other unique ideas: https://splose.com/
Thank you.
