Want to build an Equipment Log for the company I’m interning at. Where do I start?

Looking for tutorials, tools, whatever I can to be able to get started. How can I get an interactive equipment log with a floor plan to show you where each piece of equipment is and to be able to update it? Also what’s a time estimate to get this done? Can I get this done in 2 months?
