How would you structure your core eng./dev team and the delivery/implementation team in a saas company.

Hey there! I've been assigned to consider dividing our current development team into two: one focused on development and the other on delivery. From what I've observed, both teams tend to operate independently, with the development team holding onto knowledge that could help the delivery team and ultimately satisfy the customer.

I propose that both teams have some overlap, with members from each team dedicating a few hours a week to resolving critical P1 issues that are hindering delivery. What do you think?
