Small and cheap read-only backend for app

I'm looking for the best/cheapest way to create a small read-only backend for my app. I have looked into AWS and Google Cloud but don't know if there is a simpler option.

Heres what I need: I will update the database every day or so (preferably I can write a script to do it and have it done automatically?). The database itself is going to be pretty small in size, just a bunch of numerical values and that's it. When the user opens the app they will fetch the data from this database. The database is never written to by users.

What's the simplest way to do it?
