Should I bother to store user name and email in my own database if I’m using firebase auth?

The firebase user object already stores these things. I currently have them on my user model but am realizing that it requires extra care to ensure they are in sync with firebase whenever the user updates these. Are there any advantages to keeping this redundancy?

Update:

Just to clarify, I will still be keeping a user table in the database because all data needs to be tied to a specific user. Only their data will be accessible to them. The only thing I am considering is removing the name and email.
