Just came to share my small success story (and its very small). I've been writing code for many years and I've written some fun interesting programs but I've never made anything that has a real-world benefit that hasn't been created already. In the last few months I made a web-app that acts as a companion app for a boardgame. The app is live and I've been getting consistent daily traffic since release. My gaming group will not play this game without it now. Feels good to create something that makes life easier, even if it is fairly trivial.
Does anyone remember the first time they finished a project that actually gets used regularly?
