CEO Wants to Abandon sprints after laying of half of the dev team. Help!

CEO is cutting costs and laid off half of our 18 person dev team and laid off 2 project managers. Says our cadence was too slow and we could not innovate fast enough before. Wants us to abandon 2 weeks sprints and implement something better and faster. What would that be? Also wants us to not say that things will take a long time when we need to create a new feature or integration. Anyone have any insight as to how to handle this. I am the only remaining senior engineer and will probably be in charge of developing whatever this system needs to be.
