Measuring happiness/morale in teams

Did any of you met with someone trying to measure happiness/morale in your teams? E.g. using a questionnaire? Or maybe even a machine learning-based app?

https://medium.com/ingeniouslysimple/redgates-fantastic-beasts-65063cdf17ec – Interesting idea, although the fact that it's paper-based made me kind of unsure of it. Seems like it would be better to automatise gathering this data with some kind of software.

https://labs.spotify.com/2014/09/16/squad-health-check-model/ – A bit different approach to this. 1 hour face2face meetings seem though also to take lots of time. However, I like the fact that it's done only quarterly – seems like a good start point for exploring this idea.
