I have never, ever seen a project with good code

Let's be honest: How much of you have ever seen a real world project that was not a complete mess to deal with? I am not talking about personal projects, I am talking about real stuff that gives you a paycheck. It looks like NOBODY gives a shit about quality in our industry. I can't take it anymore. I've been working as a developer for more than 10 years, but I am frustrated. I'm thinking about just giving up on being a developer, because no one cares about quality and this makes my life a complete hell.
