Buzzword for flexible processing on either edge device, cloud or both

Hey people,

I am wondering if there is some buzzword for software which is modular enough to be running partly on the device and partly on the cloud, maybe even being able to dynamically shift operations as required between the two as time goes on. Sounds a bit like „scalability“, but maybe there is something more precise I am not aware of?
