My friend and I are looking for some software that helps young entrepreneurs organize their work processes and databases and improve performance. We want to find something inexpensive or even free of charge.
We want to start a retailing business. We have already found a few suppliers from Chile and Argentina. Now we need to look for potential customers. I already have some experience in working in this industry, so hopefully, we gonna be okay. Still, I've noticed some problems with the lack of organization in the companies I've worked with before. Besides, people who worked in sales always faced some technical issues.
For instance, when people did cold calling, they always had some problems either with connection, or they could barely hear someone on the other line. But it's not the only issue. People had to write heaps of different information and make notes, and google docs weren't the best option. I know it's free, but it's not always convenient. Perhaps you know some soft similar to excel, google docs but with a broader range of options? I love when everything is organized, so when people mess up the database, it makes me mad, and I don't want to be an evil boss.
Another issue is with emails. We used soft at my previous work, which shows if the recipient has actually opened your email. I don't remember the name of that software. But, if you could suggest something similar, perhaps again with a broader range of functions, I'd be grateful. So, again, I thought that maybe you could share some soft and services for marketing and sales, apart from organizing.
I know that it's better to read reviews online or check out different blogs. But I prefer to hear about someone's personal experience. Thanks in advance.
