Microsoft OS in Russia

Hey everyone. I have been wondering recently about the Ukraine conflict. I can't find any reference or conversation online about this so I thought I'd ask here. Given the escalating situation and the massive sanctions I thought to myself possibly one of the worst things the west could do is ask Microsoft to essentially shutdown/break any and all PCs with an internet connection using Windows. I assume it's possible and I imagine it would essentially collapse the entire IT sector in Russia. Has anyone thought about this before and do you think it's possible?
