how Important is the math

I know that coding is math heavy but do I need to be able to know how to instantly solve super complicated equations. I know it's probably specific to where I work but How many times am I gonna code for scientific notation or need to make something involving pow(sqrt(24.0000462/7.00000) + sqrt (566+ 64.66));

My brain has such a hard time wrapping around working with these concepts. All the solving for x if x = z + x + j + t + c if c 4 x = 98 is causing me to overheat.

Is there an advantage to being able to quickly put togheti long equations like that when it comes to coding? Would I be missing out trying to avoid the difficult that comes with those kind of computations ?
