Will mac mini m1 be a good choice for CS student with intent to learn gamedev ?

Hello, I am a CS student who would like to get into .NET and gamedev (I am not sure yet if i will try to work with Unity or UE).

I am thinking about getting used mac mini m1 for thoese pourposes. Do you think that it will be suitable purchase to help me get into thoese technologies ?
