So Background I been in this place for 1.5 years and have learned quite a bit of the systems. While true every development role is analytical in nature.
The systems are very advanced payments systems something that only the long term senior devs within the company are aware of such as the orignal user stories. That I need to go and ask them is this how it was designed or should work. And I get figure it out for yourself, but if you have no spec or user story how is that meant to happen.
But when I approach them they can be very stand offish and sometimes feel like there protecting there knowledge and not knowledge sharing as much as they should do to the people newer to the team.
Do other people find this in companies mine is the health sector just to give you an idea. We use Agile and am well versed in that approach but it just feels they guard there knowledge and hinders other team members.
If this is the wrong reddit please advise as to where to post thanks.
