Yesterday I (once again) got very frustrated with the spotify mobile app and I was wondering if there are any third party clients for it. Maybe I could even find some people and develop one. But how legal is that anyways? There are third party clients for some applications but do they only exist because the company tolerates it or is it generally allowed to make such clients?
