A good day at work

I'm a junior dev since a year at mid sized company. Today my senior colleague asked if I knew what was going on with an issue he had since he knows I'm somewhat proficient in Linux and C.

I sat with him, rewrote a small part of outdated third-party software he used and got it to work while he was watching and I could tell he was impressed. I know this might not seem as much but it's three hours later and I'm still happy about it, definitely made my day.

I know it might not seem as much but wanted to share with someone who maybe could relate.
