What are your habits around time reporting?

So I am just curious thous among you who have to do time tracking, what are your thoughts about it. How often do you report how accurately and is there any reason to try to do time reporting well?

I personally am a high performer in terms of delivering on projects. But I hate time reporting, I always do it the last day of the month and I just put 8h on each working day regardless of how much I worked, unless I did some crazy overtime. I have been doing it like that for years and I have never received a complaint.
