Seeking HTTP API testing framework

I hope that this question is on topic. If not, where can I best ask?

I am looking for a framework which I can use with CI/CD to run Fully Automated Regression Tests on HTTP(S) APIs.

I don't really care what language the framework uses.

Standard stuff – send a request, validate the response. Get and Post are enough for me, I don't use the other verbs.

Well documented and supported are my main criteria.
