Just wondering what the best software for coding a 3D game with 8GB ram

I have a Asus UX430U and see that most game development software uses 16gb ram or higher, wondering if there was software that uses lower ram of around 4-8GB

I have some experience of coding, but want to get into 3D games, but don't want to have to buy a brand new pc for it.
